Light Pollution News grew out of a simple question: is light pollution a real thing? Host Bill McGeeney found he needed to read up on the issues involved to fully understand the impact. Along the way, Bill thought, “Surely others must have the same questions I do. Why don’t I take them along for the ride?” And Light Pollution News was born.
Bill has since served as president of the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers and as a board member of Dark Sky Pennsylvania. He regularly engages community members through conversations and talks, helping guide both individuals and policy makers toward a better tomorrow for everyone.
